Arita, studied french language in France and translation in City University of Hong Kong, was working with International SOS Emergency Assistance Company (www.internationalsos.com) after her return from France as the operation co-ordinator for 2 periods from 1992-93 and 1996-98. Dealing with the daily operation work of several dozens of emergency cases with all unexpected accidents, sicknesses and deaths, she saw the urgency and need of good insurance protection to all, anyone – men and women, old and young, rich and poor for it would come to attack anyone anytime anywhere, and confirmed insurance companies truly paid full of the claims amount from their policies at their difficult times. She had strong conviction of the miracles and benefits of insurance to give large protection and immediate cash flow for the needy insured and his/her family financial security at life crisis. She saw the urgency and importance of an appropriate and adequate insurance protection planning arranged early and properly in one’s life. She focused herself to pursuit more insurance knowledge to enhance her professionalism by equipping herself with several international insurance professional credentials namely FLMI, LUTCF, UND, IFPC throughout her insurance early years, later upgrading herself with value investing knowledge and experience as a competent financial planner. She aspired herself to make a difference and a new impression of insurance service as “insurance angel", not insurance agent as she understood some common problems in insurance industry – unprofessional, pushy and no follow-up. She really aimed to “maximize your coverage and minimize your premium", “prudent financial analysis and underwriting" and “responsible caring after sales service" which rewarded her good reputation of Insurance Angel brand, winning her a pool of nearly 300 insurance friends (including some orphans), more than clients, in her 7 years service with Sun Life. She has targeted female professionals and working class, with 70% female clients, as high as 45% of direct referral business and over 90% for her policy persistency rate as evidences of good reputation and good business quality. She has enjoyed her insurance life with the blessing of sincere friendships.
